On Location Feb 07 – Mozambique

I was lucky enough to visit Northern Mozambique in January for the third time in three years. This area is really beginning to open up to tourism and now is certainly the time to go, as it is a rapidly changing area, although luckily the building of hotels and lodges is being done in quite a contolled way. The Quirimbas have approximately 27 islands, of which 5 have accommodation on them. There is also one safari lodge in Northern Mozambique in the Niassa Reserve, called Lugenda Bush Camp, but this is only open from May to November, so I was unable to visit it.

The weather in January was boiling hot and sunny for the 10 days that I was there and I had two short rain showers. It was also incredibly windy but to be honest without the wind it would almost have been too hot. Interestingly though it did cool down once the sun had gone down in the evenings.

Quilalea

I returned to Quilalea Island for my third visit. Quilalea was one of the first islands to build a luxury lodge in the Quirimbas. It is owned by John and Marjolaine who live nearby in Pemba and visit the island on a regular basis. To get there it is a 15 minute helicopter ride from Pemba, which is a fantastic way to arrive as you are flown over turquiose waters studded with pristine islands with white sandy beaches, with local fishermen out in their dhows. The island has 9 villas. My favourite room is no 9 as it offers the most amount of privacy. The manager Ernst is from South Africa (Ex Aman Bhutan) and is young but charming, professional and friendly. Quilalea offers various activities including snorkelling, canoeing, fly fishing, dhow trips, deep sea fishing, island walks, historical tours to Ibo Island also has a new boat called Kiraku, which is a catamaran, which sleeps 2 comfortably or can be used for ½ day and day charters. For people wishing to sleep on it I would advise experienced sailors.

The dive centre is extremely well run with good equipment although sadly the visibility was poor on the dive that I went on due to the winds but I have had some great diving on previous visits.

Quilalea has its own time and is an hour ahead of the mainland

Medjumbe

To get to Medjumbe is a 40 minute flight from Pemba in the big plane (12 seater) or 45-60 minutes in a small plane.

There are 13 rooms, 1-8 on one side of the main area and 9-14 (there is no room 13) on the other side by the runway. The rooms are all exactly the same. The rooms are wooden with thatch roofs and are exactly the same as the rooms at Matemo apart from the fact that they will have plunge pools at Medjumbe. The rooms have air-con, fans tv’s minibars, telephones, hairdryers, so more for guests who need all the mod cons.

The manager Tony who is a South African was very friendly.

Lindy is the dive instructor and is excellent. The dive school is a small shack, although the diving was superb with unbelievably beautiful coral. The food was more European with a wide choice, such as lasagnes, burgers, lobster, steak, piri piri chicken etc.

Ibo Island

To get there is a 30 minute flight from Pemba.

There are currently 9 rooms with 5 more opening next year.. The new rooms can also be rented as a separate villa. Out of the 9 rooms there is 1 room in the main building, 4 rooms in the main building next door and then 4 garden rooms.

The main staff are all Zimbabweans and are charming, although the locals were being taught English and trained.

I was taken on the most fascinating historical tour of Ibo which lasted about 1 ½ - 2 hours. We were also taken to see the silver smith who makes very intricate jewellery.

I also went on a boat trip through the mangrove swamps (looking for crocodiles and saw lots of lovely birds) and we stopped off at a local fishing village. Another great activity was going kayaking through the Mangroves and then back along the edge of Ibo and the historical buildings. I was also taken out to the sand bank with drinks, an umbrella and snorkelling kit, where I snorkelled and saw stunning star fish.

Other activities on offer are nature and bird walks, snorkelling excursions, sunset dhow cruise (when the dhow is finished), trips to Quirimbas Island, (which is next door to Quilalea), private lunch on Mogundula Island (owned by Ibo Lodge) diving and fly fishing will be on offer later on in the year.

The food was fairly good, with fresh seafood and this was either served in the garden for lunch and then on the rood terrace for dinner, which has wonderful views.

Guludo

I popped into Guludo for lunch and a quick site inspection. I was taken by boat from Ibo which took around 45 minutes and then a long walk up the beach as the tide was out. For guests, they can fly to Matemo and then go by boat, which is 15 minutes or go by road from Pemba which is 3 hours and not a great road.

Unfortunately Amy one of the owners was unwell with Malaria, Neil her partner showed me around. They have 9 rooms which are all the same and face the beach. There are 3 guest rooms on one side of the main area and 6 on the other side. The tents are actually made of mosquito netting with a thatch roof.

They are also putting in a Lamu tower with a bar and library.

Londo

This is owned and run by a Dutch couple, PJ and Eveline and their 2 little girls. It is a 15 minute boat ride away from Pemba and they can take you there in the dark if necessary. Londo is situated almost opposite Pemba but tucked away around a corner, so it is very private. It is on the mainland but as you get there by boat and as it is in a remote area, you almost feel like you are on an island.

Londo currently has six rooms but are planning on building more. The first will be the bush room which will be built around a baobab tree.

The rooms are beautifully decorated and spacious with lovely views.

Activities include:

Mangrove boat tour, village visit-you can walk there from Londo, dhow cruise, diving, they are Padi registered, water-skiing, doughnuting, massage, facials, fishing, snorkelling, dolphin watching, whale watching (Aug, Sept, Oct), bush walk with a surprise breakfast on the beach.

Mobiles work and there is internet access on request.

The food is fantastic. Eveline who worked as a chef in a restaurant in Spain for 5 years currently does the cooking. One day for lunch we had amazing Sushi. There are also various different areas to eat.

Vamizi

To get to Vamizi is a 50 minute flight in the extremely smart and brand new Vamizi plane, which seats about 10/12. Alternatively you can charter from Dar, at quite an expense.

The rooms are well spaced out which means privacy but quite a long walk if you are at the end. All the rooms are the same apart from the family room which is interconnecting. The beach is long, white and sandy with clear turquoise waters.

There is a dining room, small sunset bar, big main lounge, office and dive hut.

There is no shop and no spa. The waiters mostly from Maputo are all charming.

Activities include:

Snorkelling, diving which is incredible with amazing fish life and I dived with grey reef sharks. I was also lucky enough to watch a turtle lay her eggs and went fishing and caught several barracuda.

I also popped into Matemo and Pemba Beach Hotel very briefly. They are very resorty but would be perfect for families.

veronika decides to die

VERONIKA DECIDES TO DIE

”Stay mad, but behave like normal people. Run the risk of being different, but learn to do that without attracting attention.”

Death - the absolute truth, the inevitable reality. At some stage in each of our lives, the choice of ending it has crossed our minds .The ultimate escape from all of this pain and agony, the undisturbed sleep. But none of us has ever dared to attempt it or even mention it as we all are afraid of the raised eyebrows and the imminent question, “are you mad?”

Madness - the excuse to finally live our lives, do as we want, no strings attached. Each one of us comes with our own set of eccentricities but we again are too afraid to express them and act on them. Again our feet are bound by the dreaded question, “are you mad?”

It’s said that all in life is pre decided by some supernatural power. But what happens if we decide to make our destiny. What happens if we decide to die?

The story begins on 11th November 1997, in Slovenia, the day Veronika decides that now the day has arrived for her to kill herself. She takes an overdose of sleeping pills to put herself out of her desolation. This decision was based on her belief that she had spent her life to the full extent and to carry on living will only increase her miseries. She decides to die because she was neither happy nor unhappy. It was the same routine for her, same working days and nights. She realizes that now nothing was going to change for her and life somehow had lost its meaning. As she awaits her death she watches the routine life from her window and feels at peace with her decision. While flipping through the pages of a magazine, a question asked in an article catches her eyes, where’s Slovenia? So she decides to write a letter to the newspaper, about Slovenia explaining its existence and making its anonymity, the reason of her death.

Her failed attempt leads her to a mental asylum called Vilette. As she regains consciousness, she realizes that her suicide had not been successful and after recovering she would have to go back to her routine life and live it on the terms of others, spend it for pleasing all and meeting their expectations. But later she is told that although she is alive, her heart is now irreparably damaged and she has only a few days to live. Waiting for her death to come, she realizes that time has lost all meaning. All she had to do was wait for the day, the minute and the second when she will finally close her eyes on this world.

During her first conscious night in the asylum, she meets Zedka, another inmate who had left everything in her life to search for her impossible love. Her futile search led to depression and finally she landed in the asylum. She experiences astral journeys during the course of her treatment and explores the world around herself in a way that was strange by all standards. She becomes a friend to Veronika and on the day of her release, she leaves her with the thoughts of limitless and reasonless love. Zedka decides to leave her depression in the asylum but carries with her all other sorts of madness which now will be normal for her and others, as she was considered to be abnormal.

Veronika also meets Mari, a member of the Fraternity (a group of longer standing members, who could have left several years ago, but stay at the states expenses due to the hospitals familiarity, and who behave like dangerous maniacs whenever there is a government inspection).  Mari, a successful lawyer, enters the asylum as a panic attack patient. Though her state is completely curable, she decides to stay back and conform to the rules and life of the asylum rather than facing the world outside which had shunned her due to her illness. She teaches Veronika to experience ultimate pleasure and push herself beyond her boundaries. To be your own self is the best way to live and this can only happen when we remain true and not let others adulterate us. In the end, inspired by Veronika’s courage to live each day as it comes, Mari decides to leave the asylum and follow her heart and free her soul.

Veronika’s life changes when she meets Eduard, a schizophrenic, whose madness was reportedly beyond cure. Being the son of a diplomat, he had seen all comforts in life but his road accident changes his life .He gets inspired by the lives of great visionaries and creates his own visions of paradise. He gets conflicted between his parents’ wishes of him becoming a diplomat and his own of becoming a painter. Split between the two, he finally looses the thread of attachment and ends up in the asylum. Here, he gets enchanted by the music that Veronika creates on the piano. Each night he waits for her to play and looses all his sorrows and worries in the rhythm of the notes. She manages to free him when she bares herself and her innermost desires to him and he sets them both free by escaping the asylum and embracing love.

This is a short novel of about 190 pages, but each page is an excerpt from each of our existences. Any minor deviations from the societal norms, brands us as abnormal. The book shows us two sides of the coin: surrender to the society’s perception of our conduct, or struggle against that majority and try to find our own way in the world. To unlock our deepest desires and to live life the way we want, has somehow lost its meaning. By digging deep in our souls we only realize  bitterness , hatred, love, madness .But what rules us is the fear to express what we feel .The book makes us  realize life  has not stopped offering changes but what we do with those changes , affect us. Closing our eyes from doing anything that’s different, that can change our life, guarding ourselves inside the high defensive walls will not help the cause. There’s an immediate need to break free from the shadows of monotony, normal and slow death. Each lesson in our life comes from our own experiences and they can only happen if we let them. Otherwise life just stagnates.

The book takes us through the risks taken by each of the characters. Life becomes worth living when we experiment with our capacity and capability. Love is the biggest risk that humans take. To completely surrender oneself to someone, tests all our other emotions. Selfless love is the impossible bond that all of us seek but rarely any of us find. But that does not stop us from loving as to feel alive we need to breath and bleed.

The knowledge of death inspires us to live each day with much enthusiasm and contentment. Otherwise we take each moment for granted and never pause to think that maybe this will be our last. We live for tomorrow and not for today. We stop realizing that we are judged by the standards of people who themselves do things which are way off the mark but manage to hide them. Each day is a miracle when we consider the number of things that can happen to us in each second of our fragile existence.

The author successfully manages to leave a mark on the hearts of all the people who ever decided what Veronica had, who ever felt like her, or like any of the other characters in Villete.

Insanity, as all call it, becomes a very relative term when we apply it to us humans. Our actions which may appear insane to someone, maybe completely justified to someone else. We need to realize that it’s perfectly fine to not behave as others expect us to and do what our heart tells us. It’s a very short life and we need to live it to the fullest, without any inhibitions.

About the author:

Paulo Coelho was born in Brazil and has become one of the most widely read authors in the world today. He is renowned for his novel “The Alchemist”, and is the recipient of numerous international awards. He was confined to a mental hospital in Rio de Janeiro three times during his teenage years. When he left, for the last time in 1967, Paulo promised himself that one day he would write about his experiences; however he also promised himself not to do this during his parent’s lifetime out of respect for the pain and suffering this would cause them. Instead Paulo found a way to release his experiences by way of the novel “Veronika decides to die”, published by Harper Collins in 1999.

A New Earth Webinar, Part 2

Cliff saw Eckhart Tolle on the Oprah Winfrey Show, bought “A New Earth,” written by Tolle, and read every word.

About two months later, he stopped for coffee on his way to work, stepped off a curb, and fell on the pavement face first.

His hip broke. He heard the crack on the way down.

A day later, the doctors performed a successful hip replacement, and Cliff was in for a long rehabilitation period.

Cliff’s attitude impressed all of his friends. He was jolly, telling jokes and instructed all of his visitors to read “A New Earth.”

Most of my friends have seen “The New Earth Webinar” on Oprah.com, but we all got stalled on the last segment, Chapter 10, which we heard was two hours long.

But seeing Cliff do so well facing his challenge, and as I attributed this to Tolle’s book, I decided to watch it.

At the same time, the 9/11 attack anniversary was commemorated privately and publicly here in the U.S and throughout the world.

Tolle talks about his vision of the New Earth, which simply is bringing consciousness to every moment, becoming aware that we are aware, becoming still within this awareness.

This expanded perspective brings us to the realization that we are far greater than the body or the physical dimension we all seem to agree on.

The rhythms of life include the ebb and flow, the expansion and contraction, the inhaling and exhaling, the heart in motion and at rest, if only for a mili-second.

We sleep then we wake up, whether remembering our dreams or not.

The seasonal changes give rise to a rebirth in spring time and a dissolution of life in the Autumn and Winter, and a great abundance and plenty in the Summer months especially here in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

And in this cyclic rhythm, there comes a time in the outgoing of life, in the Youth of our lives, when we return to the Source, as we age.

In this phase of our earthly existence, we may come to the realization that we are not separate from other humans, animals, rock, wind or water.

As we experience the death of loved ones, or perhaps a near death experience in our own lives, an awakening often occurs.

As terrible as the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon were, they served to temporarily wake up America. For a period of several weeks, we were all bonded in a unified state of love and compassion.

In New York, people spoke of an aura of safety, where people were not afraid to speak to one another on the streets. People actually poured forth their stories and communicated their inner most feelings with perfect strangers.

This is a beautiful example of a shared awakening. No one wanted this sense of unity to end. But of course it did when the wars began.

Years ago, I shared a joke with one of the Family Practice Residents. I’d ask him, “Are you a human doing or a human being?”

I gave him a book called The One Minute Meditator, and he eventually decided he’d rather Be, rather than constantly Do, so he slowed down his life.

The act of being brought into our doing is what matters the most, Tolle said on the last Webinar.

The act of being becomes more valuable with age but many young people also see the wisdom of this, these days.

We don’t have to be on the death bed to accept the Reality of Spirit.

Do you know when you are in the presence of a peaceful or disturbed person?

A disturbed person slams doors, sighs with worry or contempt, and throws papers across the room.

Vietnamese Buddhist Thich Naht Hahn said of Thomas Merton, the Christian Mystic: “He knows how to shut a door,” gently, with mindful awareness and with respect.

Yes, respectfully shutting a door, making bread by hand, serving and preparing a meal, and washing each dish synchronized with the conscious breath is the portal to Mindful Living.

Tolle says, “The only actions that do not cause opposing reactions are those aimed at the good of all.”

It’s not what you do or what you say, but how you do it or say it that matters. Are you centered and focused as you do it or say it, or distracted and ill at ease?

Do I open the door as a means to an end or am I opening it with my fullest attention?

Tolle cites 3 components to Awakening:

1) Acceptance

2) Enjoyment

3) Enthusiasm

Tolle says that as you go about your day, if you are not experiencing acceptance, enjoyment or enthusiasm, than you are bringing suffering to other people and to the world.

Don’t worry about the difficult boss, the violence in our cities, the killing of innocent people, the outcome of the 2008 Election here in America or anywhere else.

By accepting these challenges, you are not condoning them, says Tolle.

Begin to practice “Presence Power,” which is the act of developing your spiritual muscle.

Oprah made a good point that if you want to run a marathon, you must train for it.

The same is true for developing presence and conscious awareness.

Ask yourself: “Am I able to accept this moment exactly as it is?”

Because the control freak boss or whom ever you are confronting is a lovable and loving child of God/ess.

But you may still need to step aside from it.

If you are stuck in an elevator with an ego-driven, loud talking ignoramus, accept it, do not resist it.

Watch the drama as you would a movie. Step back!! Enjoy the show!!

Ask yourself: “Am I ok with the present moment?” If not, I am not empowered, says Tolle.

What ever you do, from the act of making tea, looking out the window, watching the clouds, listening to the rain, the airplane, the breathing of your dog: by bringing presence to these small acts, by fully dimensionalizing the here and now, great meaning and purpose results.

Be vigilant, like a radar and ask yourself from moment to moment, “Am I accepting, enjoying, enthusing?”

As you perform an action, ask yourself, “Am I contaminating my movements and actions with negativity from past memories, or am I joyfully accepting and honoring this moment and Life Itself?”

Tolle says that true success depends on the quality of energy flowing into what you are doing.

Choose to do what you must do, or don’t do it. Make the process a conscious one.

As you enjoy the process, great creative thoughts, leading to enthusiastic action, arise.

Again, practice with small acts. If I don’t like going to work, accept it (and show up anyway). If I am stuck in mud up to my knees, accept it.

Joy and enthusiasm arise from the ability to accept the small challenges.

The world is not here to make you happy. It is here to make you conscious, Tolle emphasizes.

As we enter the flow of living, a conscious species is born.

We are It!!

Girl Friendly Bangkok Hotels - Travel Advice from an Expert

Bangkok has some of the best red light sex districts in Southeast Asia. The availability of sex is the biggest attraction, and that’s why scores of men all over the world flock to Bangkok every year. But what most first time visitors to Bangkok don’t know is that there are hotels that charge you extra money for taking a lady back to your room and there are hotels that don’t care who you bring back (as long as it’s only one guest).

Chances are if you’re reading this, then you’re looking to take a lady back to your room. If that’s so then you want to book a hotel that is girl friendly in Bangkok. Non-girl friendly hotels charge a 500 Baht joiner fee and sadly it makes a guest feel sort of shameful as the security guard is usually the one who stops a guest with lady in tow from entering the elevator. Then you’re led to the reception desk, which is also called the walk of shame where you’re presented with a 500 Baht joiner fee.

To avoid this 500 Baht joiner fee and the walk of shame, you should book a hotel that is considered girl friendly. A prime example of one such hotel is the Peninsula. This is one of the top rated hotels in the world, yet they don’t care if you bring a prostitute back to your hotel. It’s an expensive hotel however. Fortunately there are plenty of affordable ones.

Girl friendly hotels are not just a hotel where men bring ladies to for sex.  These hotels are just like any other ordinary hotel in Bangkok where business people, tourist, travelers and so on stay. They simply have a relaxed policy on guest inviting a lady back to their rooms.

Girl friendly hotels hotel rates range from budget to astronomical. Some classic examples of budget hotels are the Majestic Suites near Nana red light district and Bally’s Suites Silom in the red light district of Patpong. Most of these budget hotels even include free breakfast and have a pool for guests to unwind on a hot afternoon.

What most first time travelers to Bangkok’s want to know is which red light district they should stay next to. The answer is Nana red light district. Nana is a district in Bangkok filled with clubs, beer bars, pubs and most importantly where you will find the most freelance Thai prostitutes on the streets at night. The main focal point however is Nana Entertainment Plaza. It’s a small building, just 3 story tall filled with a manner of go go bars. In the middle is an open arcade with several well known open air bars.

So if you’re looking for a girl friendly hotel, find one in the Nana red light district. That’s where all the action is and that’s where you should be to experience Bangkok’s sex district up front. But make sure you book ahead of time as most of those hotels are very popular.

Classic Movies Vs. Digital Movies

Modern movie viewers want to see rapid-fire action, a simple plot and a lot of special effects. In the last few years the most successful movies were the big budget movies, with a lot of explosions and beautiful actresses. Of course, we can’t criticize a person for what movies he or she likes and dislikes but the movies of real quality offer more than spectacular explosions and beautiful women.

For example, in the early days of the movie industry, there weren’t no special effects due to the fact that technology was just beginning to develop. Back in the old days, movies had a complex and intelligent plot; in those days you judged a movie by how well the actors performed, how good the plot was; nowadays, people judge movies by the quantity of TNT used, the computer generated special effects used, the number of girls that are in the movie and let’s not forget that a good movie must have a plot as simple as it can be. I’m not saying that all modern movies are bad, but let’s be frank, most of them have these ingredients, and you can’t blame the producers because if the audience wants to see one of the mentioned, you have to give them that so that they can make a pretty buck.

Getting back to old movies, in those days, there weren’t any computers, no special effects; it came down to the actors, which in my opinion are the most important part in a movie. Let’s not forget that black and white movies have a special look which can’t be found in today’s computerized movies. It took hard work to make a movie back in the days, it took even years to make some of the movies in comparison to present, when movies are made on a regular basics. To fully comprehend this aspect I have two questions: What car would you buy? A car manually built or a car which was made in a few hours by robots? Which is of more quality? The answer is obvious, at least in my opinion: the manually built one because it is far better, of greater quality.

It is the exact situation with movies; if you see a computerized movie that means you have seen them all, they are all the same in comparison with classic movies which are different because every producer, director came with something new, something that hasn’t been seen before, that is way movies were interesting because not only producers but also actors struggled to give their best to attract movie fans.

Some examples of great movies that all movie enthusiasts mustn’t miss are : 1. “Casablanca”; 2. “Gone With The Wind”; 3. “Mr. Smith Goes To Washington”; 4. “Sunset Boulevard”; 5. “It Happened One Night” and others as well. These 5 movies are classics: great actors, great performances, great producers, everything is great about these movies.

Some of you probably don’t like old movies; I have some piece of advice: try watching the colorized versions of some classic movies, you might change your mind about these movies; these movies have a lot to offer, give them a try, I can assure you that you won’t regret watching Gone With The Wind, for example.

All things considered, most of the old movies are of very high quality with the accent put on the actors not on the special effects which in those days were inexistent. Don’t get me wrong, some of today’s movies are great but most of them can’t be compared to the old movies like Alfred Hitchcock’s “ The Birds” or Ernst Lubitsch’s “Trouble In Paradise”.

Real Hair Extensions Give you a Fresh New Look

Long hair seems to be the in-thing this season. From celebrities to the girl next door, everyone seems to be sporting it. Nothing in this world is permanent as everything keeps on changing, so it is advisable that you must go for a change now and then. Changing your looks through real hair extensions is one thing that you can indulge in and experiment with your looks. Hair extensions are a simple means through which one can drastically alter the length of their hair. You just have to find out if long hair is suitable to your or not, before for you go for real hair extensions.

It may happen that you will see people all around you sporting long hairs. However, this does not mean that you will also have to go for it; just because everyone is going for real hair extensions these days. You must understand that not everyone is an ideal candidate for real hair extensions. Hair extensions can be done both with real human hair and with artificial synthetic hair. You must visit your stylist and find out if you are ideal candidate for hair extension or not. If the stylist advises you against hair extensions, you better need her advice. Otherwise, you may just end up causing damage to your hair.

Do a proper research and find out what the advantage and disadvantage of real hair extensions are before you go for it. You can take the help of World Wide Web to find any information that you want about real hair extensions. If you are not very convinced with all the info that you find on the web, you can talk about this to your friends who have undergone this procedure. They are the best person who can tell you exactly what advantage or disadvantage this procedure has. After knowing all about hair extensions, you can go ahead and do this to experiment with your looks if you feel comfortable with the procedure.

Real hair extensions or human hair extensions are costly compared to artificial hair extensions. Well if the quality of hair extension is good and entire thing looks incredible on you, I am sure you will not hesitate to spend some money to pamper yourself. Tips on Finding Love Through a Dating Website

If you have seen the movie “You’ve Got Mail” starred by Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan, you must’ve been day dreaming of one day you’ll find love in the same way. Singles often find plenty of ways to meet people, but finding it in the Internet through a dating website is now widely used for its accessibility and convenience. Here are some tips and tricks to help you successfully find your true love:

Find a good dating website

If you use the internet to find love, you must first look for a good dating website in different search engines. Browse out for excellent ones. You can look for one through search engines. Find out how long the website has been going. If it has been around for quite some time, you may find more people compared with the new ones. Identify whether it provides means for email and chat just within the website for confidentiality, also surf around for feedbacks from other users. Determine how much it costs. You can try its free trial before signing up with a paid membership. In that way, you can try if the website suits you.

Make an Irresistible Profile

After choosing the dating website, you must then make your profile. Your profile pretty much shows who you are and what you are looking for. It is better if you are specific, using a little bit of humor. Do not write lengthy profiles. Rather, use a shorter one that has a punch. Do not reveal everything about you. Instead, give them facts that will leave them puzzled, and make them ask for more.

In deciding your username, pick something that stands out. You wouldn’t want your name to be disregarded along with other ordinary names. Then, post a picture of yourself with half and full body that best describes your personality, and your interests.

How to get in touch

When getting in touch, do not be scared to make the first move. Start with interesting headings that are short but catchy. Make it noticeable and interesting. Give cues that show you went through their profile, and that you are interested to get to know them more. Don’t give lengthy messages, rather, have a flirty headline, and make it brief but sociable.

It is best not to be too personal on your initial conversation. Rather than putting pressure on potential mate with all your questions, you can talk about the things that you two have in common. Do not focus on one person. Give out messages to other potential partners while still eyeing on the one you really like. This gives you more opportunities to find love.

First Acquaintance after online dating website

You have gotten to know each other well, and now both of you are ready to meet. In deciding the location to meet, it is advisable if you meet in a public place. You could also tell friends or family members that you are meeting a person you met through the internet for the first time. It protects you from uncertainties, and it can also be used as an emergency exit just in case.

Dating website give you the opportunity to meet potential mates. However, always be cautious. It can be a pleasurable way to find love, but it can also be a risky medium that exposes you to harm. Do not let this put you off. Online dating sites are delightful means to find love that you have been waiting for. So, sit back and relax as you experience the thrills that only dating website can provide.

Christmas Time, Mistletoe and Wine, Champagne, Whiskey - What’s Your Christmas Tipple?

The season of goodwill; a beautiful and spiritual time filled with magic, laughter and the gentle fall of snow across the ground. A time when families can while away hours together and really ponder the meaning of life. This might well the be the case, but it’s also likely that you’ll be having a fantastic party, surrounded by your favourite tipples, the best Christmas Gifts you can imagine and it will probably be chucking it down with rain outside. And even if it’s not, you’ll be lucky if your only glimpse of snow is not on a Christmas card.

But the poor quality of the weather, and the inability of Britain’s seasons to - quite frankly - get it right, shouldn’t bother you too much. You’ll be around those closest to you and you may well be enjoying a glass or two of Christmas wine, maybe even of the Personalised Christmas Wine kind.

There are many types and varieties available and they are - very appropriately - embossed with “Merry Christmas” on the front of the bottle. Best of all though, rather than the back of the bottle featuring an explanation of the weather enjoyed by the local vineyard - which will invariably be better than the weather outside of your cosy and snug home - it can instead feature a personalised message engraved right into the back of the bottle. And they even come with their very own gift box. So whether they’re Christmas Gifts for someone special, or something you’re buying for yourself to make a party go with even more of a bang, Personalised Christmas Wine is something to consider.

But Christmas is not just about parties; it is very much the time of year when loved ones show each other just how much they care and how much they mean to one another. So when you’re looking to let your loved one know, its good to get it right.

No matter how well you know someone, buying the perfect Christmas Gifts can be fraught with dangers, but it’s probably safe to say that you shouldn’t ever think of buying a blender (for her), or a pair slippers (for him). If you’re looking for the ideal Christmas Gifts for the lady in your life, why not think about opting for a 30-minute pampering treat? They offer the perfect opportunity relax and unwind - and you can even make the gift that little bit more personalised by choosing the treatment you know she’ll enjoy the most.

And if you’re buying Christmas Gifts for a younger niece or cousin, why not treat them to a delicious six-pack of lip gloss? Called Naughty but Nice Lip Gloss, they’re delicious enough to sweeten up anyone’s day.

But what about Christmas gifts for him? Men are not so easy to buy for either. Is the man on your mind into cars, fine wines, cooking, or even gardening? There are plenty of Christmas Gifts to choose from that can tick each of those boxes - it is even possible to buy a Grow It Gift Box Cactus. How cool is that? - but if you’re still not sure, why not just head straight for a man’s heart and give him something to excite the palate? It doesn’t have to be wine; it could be a favourite Personalised Whisky, or a bubbling and crisp glass of Luxury Personalised Champagne for him.

But nothing really comes close to a bottle of wine that has the personal touch. The fruity flavours hit all of the right notes that can send anyone’s taste buds wild, and the presence of an engraved message of your choice really shows that you care. Which is pretty unique as a bottle of wine can tell a very different story. Rather like a bunch of flowers from a petrol station, a hastily bought bottle of wine can send out all of wrong messages; even if it doesn’t smell of diesel. So if you want to buy a gift that says “I’m thinking of you”, make it personal, make it elegantly wrapped and make it wine.

But once the gift has been chosen things don’t just end there, as there is also the message to consider. Do you want your Christmas Gifts message to convey sentiments of love? Of friendship? Or something that really conveys the deep spiritual meaning of Christmas that goes far beyond the physical expression that is the gift itself? Don’t worry, there is still plenty of time to decide.

Men - Learn How to Kiss in 3 Minutes or Less

The art of giving a woman a great kiss isn’t something you’re born into. I’ve yet to meet a guy who gave the first girl he kissed in his life an great kiss. Learning how to kiss in such a way that her entire body feels electrified is a skill that’s cultivated over time and experience. Some of the most important lessons I’ve learned over the years are the timing of the initial kiss, discovering what is her fantasy kiss, and creating a sexually charged moment for the kiss.

The first kiss is a big step in any relationship. The first kiss tells her a lot about you: How comfortable with her are you? How confident do you feel with her? How comfortable are you with your desires? Based on how you kiss, she’ll even come up with ideas on how you are in bed.

On top of that, the initial kiss also sets a tone for the rest of the relationship Did the kiss feel tense and robotic? Or does it feel sensual, sexual, and natural? Her first kiss with you is her first impression of what sexual contact with this person is like, and like all first impressions they affect the rest of the relationship.

While you’re first exploring how to kiss, there are two key points to get regarding the intial kiss: Kiss your partner as soon as you can, and to generate as much sexual energy as you can. (Which we’ll go over in a moment.)

Kissing her sooner rather than later generates a more spontaneous feel. The longer you hold it off, the more she feels like she’s in a ”dating process”, rather than being in an interaction where the two of you are just interested in each other. Kissing her early also speeds up the pace for a faster and more spontaneous relationship. How soon you kiss her affects how quickly the rest of the relationship will follow.

One other key lesson in improving in how to kiss is the art of reading out how she wants to be kissed. Every woman has an idea in her mind of what her ideal kiss is – Some enjoy a lot of tongue, other women prefer a soft and sensual kiss, while some other women prefer to be pressed up her back and feel completely controlled by the man she’s with.

One large part of learning how to kiss is figuring out her style of the best kiss and giving her just that. Only by doing this smoothly will you get comments like “Oh my god, that was an amazing kiss.”

And last but not least, develop to skill of being able to create a sexually charged moment when you kiss her. Women dream of the moment when their heartbeat quickens, their cheeks turn red, and everyone else in the room can feel that charged energy. A big part of learning how to kiss with that sexual energy is about you conveying your desire for her, non-verbally.

Those few key factors are just some of the things you should learn in learning how to kiss. More kissing skills you can learn include creating variety in the relationship, making her feel warm and taken care of, and several others are also skills that come into play when you’re giving a woman a great kiss.
